Certificate intelligence for risk teams

Can you really trust that spreadsheet?

Spreadsheets and network shares can store certificates. They cannot prove the decision behind them. TrueCOI connects the evidence, review and action in one defensible system.

When a coverage decision is challenged:

“Can your filing system show what happened—and why?”

01

Keep the proof

The original certificate and the source behind every extracted field stay together.

02

Confirm the coverage

A linked certificate is a starting point—not automatic proof for an asset or requirement.

03

Act before the gap

Missing, conflicting and expiring coverage becomes a clear queue for the right person.

The operational problem

The certificate is on file.
The decision is still exposed.

Traditional tracking proves that a document exists. TrueCOI helps your team prove why the coverage was accepted, what remains unresolved and who reviewed it.

Without TrueCOI

A document trail

  • Links mistaken for verified coverage
  • Corrections separated from the source
  • Exceptions found after the deadline
  • Decisions that cannot be reconstructed
With TrueCOI

A decision trail

  • Evidence and relationship status stay separate
  • Every normalized value keeps its provenance
  • Exceptions reach the right review queue
  • Originals and reviewer history stay intact

How TrueCOI works

From certificate to defensible decision.

Every step is designed to keep evidence, judgment and action connected.

01

Bring in the certificate

Upload a certificate or start with a validated workbook. TrueCOI checks the file, retains the original and creates an immutable version.

02

Read every important field

Carrier, policy dates, limits, coverage types and source text are normalized without losing the evidence behind them.

03

Separate a link from proof

A certificate can be associated with an asset or vendor without being treated as verified coverage. Evidence decides the status.

04

Put exceptions in front of people

Missing proof, conflicts, expirations and requirement shortfalls become a review queue with a reason and an owner.

05

Reconstruct the decision

The original, extracted value, correction, reviewer and decision history stay together for claims, disputes and audits.

Stay ahead of expirations

Give risk managers time to act before coverage lapses.

TrueCOI notifies the appropriate risk manager when a COI is approaching expiration, so the team can request updated evidence and address coverage gaps before they become urgent.

Evidence-first by design

Every answer keeps its receipts.

TrueCOI does not flatten a certificate into a row and discard the context. Raw text, normalized value, confidence, extraction method, source document and reviewer action remain connected.

Why teams choose TrueCOI

Ten strengths. One reliable answer.

01

Coverage you can prove

Evidence—not proximity—determines what is verified.

02

Decisions stay reconstructable

The source, changes and reviewer remain connected.

03

Renewals without duplicate noise

Retry-safe rules keep one event from becoming five alerts.

04

Exceptions people can act on

Risk becomes a clear work queue, not another spreadsheet.

05

Original evidence stays intact

Teams can return to the source when the stakes rise.

06

Tenant controls at every step

Identity, membership and authorization agree before access.

07

Large imports resume safely

Hashes and chunk markers make work safe to retry.

08

Metrics come from the source

Portfolio views can be rebuilt from authoritative records.

09

Cloud costs stay bounded

Explicit limits constrain reads, compute and processing exposure.

10

Room to evolve

Modular adapters preserve future choices without a rewrite.

A secure, manageable foundation

Google Cloud gives TrueCOI room to be careful—and fast.

COI evidence deserves more than a generic server. Google Cloud gives TrueCOI a foundation designed for encrypted data, controlled access, resilient services and operational visibility as customer needs grow.

Identity & tenancyVerified authentication, active membership and centralized capabilities.
Private evidenceTenant-scoped, content-addressed storage with malware screening.
Bounded operationsExplicit file, page, query, quota, concurrency and cost limits.
Recovery & auditImmutable versions, append-oriented history and managed backups.

Why Google Cloud fits the job

Five reasons buyers can trust the foundation.

01

Protection starts by default

Google Cloud encrypts customer content at rest and in transit between its facilities. TrueCOI builds additional application controls on top of that protected baseline.

02

Reliability can grow with the risk

Regional and multi-regional design options let the architecture add redundancy and recovery patterns as availability requirements mature.

03

Access can stay deliberately narrow

Fine-grained identity and access controls support least-privilege design, helping services and people receive only the access their role requires.

04

Evidence can be protected from loss

Versioning, soft deletion, retention controls and managed recovery options support the durable handling of business-critical source records.

05

Trust is backed by independent review

Google Cloud publishes compliance documentation, certifications and third-party audit resources that help customers evaluate the infrastructure beneath the application.

One source of truth. Different reasons to care.

Made for risk teams. Ready for technical scrutiny.

Risk & operations

Move from chasing documents to resolving exposure.

Prioritized renewals, visible exceptions, evidence-backed coverage states and a history that survives claims, disputes and audits.

  • Less manual reconciliation
  • Earlier exception handling
  • Clearer ownership
Security & technology

Know where the data lives and why the system can be trusted.

Tenant-rooted records, server-verified authorization, private evidence, idempotent jobs, bounded scaling and reversible integrations.

  • Predictable architecture
  • Explicit control boundaries
  • Evidence-driven auditability

Questions buyers ask

Straight answers before the pilot.

TrueCOI is designed to make uncertainty visible—not hide it behind a green checkmark.

Does a linked COI automatically prove an asset is covered?+

No. TrueCOI deliberately separates a workflow association from verification. Asset-level coverage requires acceptable evidence that connects the asset and policy, current dates and no conflict or exclusion.

What happens when extraction confidence is low?+

The field is flagged for review. Raw text, normalized value, confidence, extraction method and reviewer action remain available together.

Can a later upload overwrite a reviewed value?+

Not silently. Human-reviewed values are protected, and replacement certificates create new immutable versions rather than rewriting the original evidence.

Can we start with an existing spreadsheet?+

Yes. The import workflow validates the full workbook before writing and uses deterministic, bounded chunks so the job can resume safely.

How is tenant data separated?+

Tenant membership is the source of access truth. Data and evidence live under tenant-rooted paths, and sensitive commands re-check authorization on the server.

Is TrueCOI only for insurance teams?+

Risk and insurance teams usually own the decision, but procurement, operations, property and technical teams benefit from the same defensible source of truth.
